Service Excellence Awards – 2021

Dear Iranian Students’ Association,

It gives me great pleasure to inform the Iranian Students’ Association that you have been awarded a 2021 Dean of Students’ Commendation for the tremendous support you provided members of the Iranian and campus community during the Ukrainian Airlines Flight 752 tragedy.

Exceptional service, continued dedication and outstanding professionalism are the hallmarks of the Dean of Students’ Commendations. Through your agility and resilience, you were able to help support a university and a city devastated by the sudden loss of 13 community members aboard Ukrainian Airlines Flight PS752. We hope you recognize the notable impact of your efforts on our community as a whole.

In honour of your award, I would like to invite members of the Iranian Students’ Association to an online recognition event on April 16 from 3-4 p.m. We’ll have entertainment for the first half hour of the event, followed by the distribution of the 2021 Dean’s Commendations.

If a member of the Iranian Students’ Association can respond to this email with the names of the individuals who will be in attendance on April 16, we will follow up with personal calendar invites.
